Lexington Area MPO
Description
The Lexington Area Metro Planning Organization (MPO) is the federally designated transportation planning agency for Fayette and Jessamine Counties. The MPO is responsible for the comprehensive, coordinated, and continuous transportation planning process for the region. The MPO monitors present–day transportation needs and trends and coordinates with community partners on transportation issues, plans, projects and programs.
