The annual FY26 Unified Work Program is prepared by Lexington Area MPO staff, under the guidance of the MPO Transportation Policy Committee (TPC). The UPWP describes the transportation planning activities, tasks, timelines, and products that will be developed or completed for Fayette and Jessamine Counties. These will be conducted by or through the MPO during a one year period beginning July 1 and ending June 30 of the following year (the same as the state’s fiscal year). Costs attributed to individual work elements (plus funding sources) are also described in the UPWP.
